We sponsored a hole and entered a team at CACT’s inaugural Charity Golf Day at the picturesque Redlibbets Golf Course in Kent on Friday, July 29th, which we won!
Well done and thank you to our Operations Director, Frank Coles, HSQE Director, Gary Williamson, and our two clients Gary Hyland and Marcus March.
40 golfers took to the course, including sponsors, patrons and partners of CACT, for a two best-ball stableford competition.

We are delighted to announce that we have extended our partnership with CACT as Patrons of their Disability and Mental Health strand for another 2 years.
CACT is a charity close to our hearts, which we have supported for over 5 years.
The Trust’s Mental Health Project provides vital support, aiding young people in their recovery plans, via work with Early Intervention Services.
With 1 in 4 people expected to have a period of mental illness within their lifetime the Trust recognised that football and other physical activities can help people in their recovery process.
The Trust to date has engaged with more than 600 young people and adults through a wide variety of mental health-focused initiatives, with over 400 hours of delivery achieved, incorporating 250 different activities including sports, arts and culture.
The Trust has also developed a comprehensive Disability programme.
The Ability Counts Programme & Club is for Disabled Players from the ages of 5-16 years old, which offers competitive opportunities for Disabled Players.
They offer support to Special Schools including both curriculum and after school football clubs, as well as providing numeracy and literacy support and support around healthy lifestyles.
Power Chair Football is run in conjunction with the South London Special League. There is also a team that plays in fixtures at a central venue in Kettering on a monthly basis.
The Charlton Upbeats is a specific programme for children and adults with Down’s syndrome. Over 130 young people are registered for the Charlton Upbeats and there is a regular attendance of 50 people per week.

Congratulations to Pedro Quadros who is a Cleaning Operative at Centre Court Shopping Centre for receiving The WOW! Awards certificate!
Pedro was nominated by Rodrigo Da Silva, Venue Manager at Centre Court Shopping Centre, who said that ‘I am pleased to nominate Pedro Quandros. I have known and worked with Pedro for four months and have always found him dependable, efficient, and unfailingly punctual. In fact, I have never worked with a person who gives as much attention to detail as he does. Also, he willingness to take on difficult tasks, see them to successful completion has repeatedly impressed me over the four month. He also projects a warm, cheerful attitude to our clients. He loves people, works hard, and always tries to lift the spirits of those around him. I believe these characteristics represent all that is good in our company, and I am pleased to nominate him for the Wow Awards.’
