Celebrating Thank Your Cleaner Day

Today is a day to be celebrated, as it’s Thank Your Cleaner Day! Our field-based colleagues are our number one asset, without them, and their hard work and dedication, we have no business. We know we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for their passion, commitment and enthusiasm. Cleaning is one of the most essential services in the world today, and as part of our sustainable business strategy, ‘Better Places’, we have a real focus on our people as a resource to be recognised and managed in a sustainable manner. By having this pillar of our strategy – called ‘Putting People First’- we ensure we recognise the hard work of our colleagues all year round, not just on Thank Your Cleaner Day. Our colleague’s wellbeing truly matters to us, which is why we pay and encourage our clients to adopt the real living wage which can provide a huge difference in our colleagues work-life balance and living standards. We also ensure that our teams receive our full range of benefits and initiatives, including access to our employee assistance programme, and our rewards and recognition scheme.

Our celebrations started earlier this month and over the past few weeks, our Exec and Operations Teams have been visiting our site-based colleagues in person; offering ‘Thank You’ biscuits, chatting to our cleaning teams, and saying a huge thank you, to show our appreciation for the vital role they’ve played in keeping spaces clean and safe for all. A big thank you to our Operations Team who have made our celebrations such a success.

We are proud to have a team of passionate and devoted colleagues, who remain dedicated to upholding our values, and delivering high-quality cleaning services across our client portfolios. We put our people at the heart of our business and create an inclusive environment where everyone contributes and achieves their potential whilst improving colleague well-being and engagement.
