Putting People First This ‘Thank Your Cleaner’ Day
21 October 2025
Celebrating Our Cleaning Colleagues This October
This month, we’ve been reminded just how special our people are. Across London, we’ve shared coffees, stories, and laughs — moments that remind us why we do what we do.
Putting People First is central to our Better Places strategy — a reflection of our core value, Make a Difference, and our belief that great places start with great people.
Throughout October, colleagues from across our business have been visiting client buildings to connect with our onsite teams. They’ve listened to their experiences, shared ideas, and thanked them for the incredible work they do every day.

Our colleagues are the real face and driving force behind Regular Cleaning — the people who make every space shine, every day. Their professionalism, pride, and kindness define who we are.
Over 85% of our 1,200+ colleagues in London and the surrounding areas are paid at or above the Real Living Wage. Many have been part of our family for more than five years. Their loyalty reflects the respect and care they show — and that we’re proud to return.
This month was about taking time to sit with our teams, listen deeply, and show that their voices truly matter.
Going Beyond a Day: Our ‘Make a Difference’ Initiative

We’ve always been proud supporters of Thank Your Cleaner Day. It’s a global initiative that shines a light on the people who keep workplaces safe, hygienic, and welcoming every single day.
However, for us, one day isn’t enough. Our colleagues go above and beyond every day — for their teammates, our clients, and the communities they serve. We never underestimate the impact our teams have or the difference they’re making.
That’s why we’ve turned Thank Your Cleaner Day into a month-long celebration. It forms part of our wider Make a Difference initiative. Throughout October, colleagues from every department joined site visits, sharing coffees and conversations while hearing first-hand what matters most to our people.
These visits created space for honest, open dialogue. We talked about what’s working well, what could be improved, and how we can make every colleague’s experience even more positive and rewarding.
As one of our Contract Manager’s shared:
“Our colleagues really enjoyed seeing the Directors, colleagues from departments, and of course the management team interacting with them. It meant a lot to know that their work is seen and appreciated.”
From career aspirations and family wellbeing to equipment feedback and new ideas, these conversations gave our teams the chance to shape the future of Regular Cleaning. We’re so thankful to everyone who took the time to speak with us. Your voices help us grow, learn, and keep improving together.
Better Places, Happier Colleagues

We’re committed to ensuring that our colleagues feel valued and supported every day — not just in October. That’s why our benefits package is designed with care at its core. It offers:
- 24/7 access to a GP and counselling services
- Sparkle Awards to recognise outstanding contributions
- A range of wellbeing and development benefits that show we genuinely care
- Clear development opportunities into management positions and specialist roles
During the visits, our teams walked through these benefits in person. They made sure every colleague knew what was available, how to access it, and how to make the most of it. In addition, it was a great opportunity to share translated materials and answer questions directly, so no one misses out.
A Heartfelt Thank You

To every colleague we met — thank you. Whether it was a quick chat on-site, a story shared between shifts, or a coffee catch-up, you reminded us what makes Regular Cleaning so special.
Your honesty, positivity, and pride inspire us every day. We’ll never underestimate the difference you make — to our clients, to our business, and to every space you care for.
Your dedication and care make Regular Cleaning what it is: a company built on people, pride, and purpose. We’ll keep listening, keep learning, and keep celebrating you — not just today, but every day.
