That passion has led us to deepen our relationship with The Made Blue Foundation by becoming official Made Blue Ambassadors.

Now, every one of our clients is part of creating meaningful change — simply by choosing us as their cleaning partner.

Together, we donate clean drinking water to communities in need across the world, at no cost to our clients. We’re proud to be the only cleaning company in the UK making this contribution, and we’re excited about the difference it creates. But first, let’s take a closer look at why the lack of clean water is a global emergency — and why The Made Blue Foundation’s work really matters.

Why Clean Water Matters

Access to clean drinking water was officially recognised as a human right since 2010. Yet today, over 700 million people still lack access to safe drinking water.

One in ten spend hours every day collecting it — a burden that falls especially on women and children, reducing time for school or work. Polluted water, meanwhile, continues to cause serious health problems across many regions.

Water projects are vital and make a real difference in people’s lives every day. That’s where The Made Blue Foundation comes in — tackling the global water crisis in practical, measurable ways and bringing communities together to drive change.

Who are the Made Blue Foundation?

The Made Blue Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organisation based in the Netherlands on a mission to generate clean drinking water for communities in need. Since 2014, they have collaborated with over 500 companies to offset water usage and deliver safe drinking water where it’s needed most. Their impact so far includes:

  • Provided clean water access to over 281,000 people.
  • Prevented approximately 205,000 tons of plastic waste.
  • Saved around 3 million trees by reducing the need to boil polluted water.
  • Donated 20.5 billion litres so far.

Made Blue invests in projects in the countries that need it most, working in sustainable and entrepreneurial ways to create long-term change. It’s an approach that mirrors our own commitment to create better places every day — which is why this collaboration means so much to us.
